Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using HookedIn ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Use of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use HookedIn. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

API Keys

You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining your own Gemini API keys. You agree to comply with Google's terms of service for the Gemini API. HookedIn is not responsible for any costs incurred through your API usage.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Generate spam, misleading, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Collect or harvest information about other users

Content Ownership

Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you create using HookedIn. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

AI-Generated Content

Content generated using AI through your API keys is subject to Google's Gemini API terms. You are responsible for reviewing and ensuring the appropriateness of all AI-generated content before publishing.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HookedIn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Any content or conduct of third parties

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HookedIn and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
